Noah’s Ark and the Bright Rainbow

A tale of patience, caring for animals, and God’s colorful promise

Long ago, there lived a gentle and kind man named Noah. He loved God and always walked with integrity. One sunny day, God spoke to Noah: "Build a great ark made of gopher wood, with warm rooms inside, because rain is coming to renew the earth." Noah gathered wood and worked faithfully day after day.

The neighbors laughed and wondered why anyone would build a giant ship on dry ground, but Noah trusted God completely. Soon, a magical procession began across the hills: creatures came marching two by two! Tall giraffes bowing their long necks, soft woolly sheep, playful squirrels, and chirping songbirds all stepped peacefully through the ark door.

When the clouds gathered, gentle raindrops turned into a mighty shower. Yet inside the ark, there was cozy shelter and fellowship. Noah and his family made sure every animal had fresh straw and sweet food while the great ship floated gently over the waters.

At last, Noah released a gentle dove from the window. The dove returned carrying a fresh olive branch in her beak! The water was drying up, and the world was fresh and new. When they stepped out into the sunshine, a breathtaking rainbow stretched across the blue sky—God’s colorful promise of enduring love.

What this story teaches us:

Even when stormy days come, God keeps you safe and warm in His care. The rainbow is a reminder of His endless love.
